Originally from Springboro, Ohio, Bryan’s connection to Norris Lake began through his years at Shanghai Resort Marina. Seeing an opportunity to bring boat sales and service to the lake, he founded Aquaknox and has spent years building it into what it is today. Along the way, Bryan has remained committed to making Aquaknox a positive part of the East Tennessee and Norris Lake communities. As an owner, he has always believed in putting his team first and building a culture where success is shared. Around Aquaknox, it’s rarely “I” and almost always “we.”

Originally from Richmond, Indiana, Joe brought years of leadership experience in manufacturing to Aquaknox when he joined the team as Director of Service in 2016. Under his leadership, our service department has earned recognition from every manufacturer we represent for outstanding customer service. Joe is truly the glue that holds the team together and never hesitates to go the extra mile, even if that means towing a customer’s broken-down boat on a Sunday. Outside of work, Joe enjoys riding his motorcycle and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Trent’s history with the Courtney family goes back to high school, when he spent five summers working on the fuel dock at Shanghai Resort Marina. After earning his B.S. in Chemistry from Western Kentucky University, he joined Aquaknox to lead our West Knoxville location and now serves as Sales Director. With more than a decade of experience on the water, boating has always been a big part of his life. Outside of work, Trent enjoys surfing and wakeboarding when his knees cooperate, golfing, and flying as a private pilot. Whenever possible, he likes to combine the last two by finding a golf course with an airstrip nearby.

A LaFollette, Tennessee native, Justin has grown up professionally at Aquaknox, joining the team shortly after graduating high school. He started as a junior technician and, through years of hands-on experience and extensive factory training, has developed into one of our most experienced marine technicians. After briefly exploring a career in truck driving, Justin realized the marine industry was where he belonged and returned to Aquaknox.

Born and raised in LaFollette, Tennessee, James has been part of the Aquaknox team since 2016 and is truly a backbone of our service operation. He works behind the scenes to make sure our technicians have the boats they need, where they need them, keeping a busy service department moving every day. James also operates our 22-ton crane, which handles boat lifting at our Norris Lake facility. Outside of work, he enjoys dirt biking and spending time with his family.

A LaFollette, Tennessee native, Gary has been part of the Aquaknox family since 2018 and plays a key role in our transportation operations, safely moving boats wherever they need to go. A proud Marine Corps and Army veteran, Gary spends his free time restoring old trucks, hunting, fishing, and tinkering with boats and cars.

A Knoxville, Tennessee native, Josh joined the Aquaknox team in 2021 after spending several years working in maintenance at a large production facility. Since making the move into the marine industry, he has become MerCruiser and Mercury Outboard certified and now serves as our primary mobile technician, bringing Aquaknox service directly to customers on the lake. Outside of work, Josh enjoys spending time with his kids.

Before making Norris Lake home, Claudia lived in Sidney, Ohio, where she worked as a mail carrier. She and her husband moved to the lake full-time in 2021, the same year she joined the Aquaknox team. Outside of work, Claudia enjoys sewing, board games, and spending time with her family. You might also spot her and her husband out on their paddle boards collecting golf balls from the water on Hole 3 at Deerfield!

Born and raised in LaFollette, Tennessee, Cody’s history with Aquaknox goes all the way back to the early days. After spending his summers working the gas dock at Shanghai Resort Marina from 2009 to 2012, he began working with Bryan in 2010 operating a rental boat business and was there as Aquaknox was getting its start. After some time away, Cody is back and now leads our detailing department. Outside of work, he enjoys grilling and spending time with family and friends.

Born and raised in LaFollette, Tennessee, Dalton attended East Tennessee State University before joining the Aquaknox Norris Lake team in summer 2023. He originally started in sales before transitioning into his current role as a Service Writer, giving him a well-rounded understanding of both the sales and service sides of boating. Outside of work, Dalton enjoys golfing, playing tennis, and snowboarding.

Everyone’s favorite delivery captain, Logan joined Aquaknox in 2023 after serving six years in the U.S. Army, where he reached the rank of Sergeant and completed two deployments. A true gearhead, Logan enjoys working on just about anything with an engine. His current pride and joy is Emma, his 1970 Mustang that he plans to take autocross racing. And because every good bio needs a plot twist, Logan also has a rooster named Teddy Roostervelt.

A Luttrell, Tennessee native, Leo joined Aquaknox in summer 2024 and quickly jumped into learning the ins and outs of boat service. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, car shows, drag racing, and spending time with his wife. And when he’s not working on boats, you can usually find him in the garage making sure his sports car stays in one piece.

Originally from Indiana, Cameron moved to Tennessee in 2016 and has spent the past six years working around Norris Lake. He got his start in the kitchen and on the gas dock at Shanghai Resort Marina before joining the Aquaknox team in 2023. As a key member of our yard crew, Cameron helps keep boats moving and our day-to-day operations running smoothly. Outside of work, you’ll find him immersed in a good fiction book or reminiscing about his semester abroad in London.

A Lake City, Tennessee native, Drew joined the Aquaknox team in spring 2025 as a Service Writer, bringing previous experience leading operations for a hunting consulting company. Having grown up boating on Norris Lake, Drew knows the lake and the boating lifestyle firsthand. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife and kids.

Originally from Upstate New York, Ryan is a former baseball player and coach who spent several years playing and coaching professionally overseas. Before joining Aquaknox, he worked in government boat sales in San Diego, bringing valuable marine sales experience to our team. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, hitting the golf course, and traveling to new places.

Tate tried retirement… it didn’t stick. A Navy Corpsman and retired firefighter of 25 years, he’s simply built to be hands-on, helpful, and in the mix. Originally from Middletown, Ohio, Tate started coming to Norris Lake in 2015 and never looked back. Now part of the Aquaknox sales team, he’s always ready to talk boats, swap lake stories, and help customers find the right boat to enjoy life on the water.

Originally from Northern California near Lake Tahoe, Brett made Knoxville home in 2020 when he joined Fox Road Marina as a technician. A graduate of the Mercury Mechanic Institute, Brett finished at the top of his class and brings exceptional technical skill and attention to detail to every job. Outside of work, Brett and his wife enjoy gardening and spending time with their dogs.

A Loudon, Tennessee local, Lee brings 15 years of experience at Malibu Boats headquarters to the Aquaknox service team. During his time at Malibu, he worked across several areas, including technical service, warranty, gel repair, and eventually as a team lead. His extensive factory-level knowledge and hands-on experience make him a valuable asset to our service team. Outside of work, Lee enjoys spending time with his two teenage kids and racing cars.

Originally from Illinois, LB has called Knoxville home since 1987, and Fox Road Marina has been part of her story for 35 years. Before joining Aquaknox, she did a little bit of everything at the Knoxville marina, from billing and grilling to whatever else needed to be done. Today, she serves as our Parts & Warranty Coordinator, bringing decades of experience and rock-solid reliability to the team. Outside of work, LB enjoys quilting, sewing, crocheting, and tackling her next craft project.

Reese is from Three Rivers, Michigan, and came to the University of Tennessee for business school and the big-school football experience. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Finance in spring 2026, she joined Aquaknox full-time in Finance & Insurance. Growing up around the boating industry sparked her longtime interest in the marine world. Outside of work, Reese enjoys spending time on the lake, golfing, snowboarding, and being with family and friends.

Daylin grew up in Wesley Chapel, Florida, and moved to Knoxville with his family in 2020. He joined the Aquaknox team in the summer of 2023 while attending East Tennessee State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Parks and Recreation and was crowned 2025 ETSU Homecoming King. After graduating in spring 2026, Daylin joined our team full-time in sales. Outside of work, he’s an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys spelunking, rock climbing, and backpacking.

A Loudon, Tennessee native, Brandon is a proud Army veteran who served with the 10th Mountain Division, including deployments to Afghanistan in 2010 and 2011. Before joining Aquaknox, he worked in body repair at Malibu Boats and brings plenty of hands-on experience and attention to detail to our team. Outside of work, Brandon enjoys tinkering with Chevy trucks, working on motorcycles, or simply “piddling” around the garage.

Originally from West Palm Beach, Florida, Max relocated to Knoxville in June 2024 to start a new chapter with his family. He’s been married for 23 years, has two daughters, and has loved boating since buying his first boat at 19. One of his wildest boating stories? Surviving a boat that sank 20 miles offshore before being rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard. Outside of work, Max enjoys spending time with his family and their basset hounds.

Originally from Mooresburg, TN, Cody joined the Aquaknox crew in early summer 2026 as part of our yard team. He brings plenty of mechanical experience with him, including 10 years as a Harley-Davidson Master Technician. Outside of work, Cody enjoys building vintage Harley choppers, deer hunting, and searching estate sales for unique finds. A true Harley enthusiast, he even owns a 1948 Harley!
